Auto - What to do in an accident?

Check for injuries, if anyone is hurt call 911.

Call local police, so there is an official record of the event and driver statements.

Remain at the scene.

Collect the following information: time and location, photos of the accident, year, make, model, of vehicles involved, insurance information from other drivers including policy number, names and contact information from witnesses.

Once you are home safe call your insurance company and file your claim.
